How to add a building part standard

1.     Click Add building part standard (plus)

2.    Enter the name of the building part standard in the field for ‘Name’

3.    Enter a description for the building part standard in the field for ‘Description’ (optional)

4.    Click the field for ‘Revit version’ and select a version from the dropdown list

5.    Click Save

6.    The building part standard has been added and will now appear in the list of building part standards.

 

How to see building part standard details

1.     Find the building part standard

2.    Click on the name of the given building part standard

3.    Click Close at the top bar to get back to the list of building part standards.

 

 

How to edit building part standard details

1.     Find the building part standard

2.    Click on the name of the given building part

3.    Click Edit at the top bar

4.    Enter new information in the field for ‘Name’ and/or ‘Description’

5.    Click Close at the top bar to get back to the list of building part standards.

 

 

How to see which building parts are attached to the building part standard

1.     Find the building part standard

2.    Click on the name of the building part standard

3.    Click on the Building parts tab

4.    Building parts which are attached will have a check mark in the column for ‘Attached’

5.    Click Close at the top bar to get back to the list of building part standards.

 

Please note that it is possible to use the filter above the list. It is possible to choose between Show All, Show attached and Show not attached.

 

 

How to edit which building parts to be attached to the building part standard

1.     Find the building part standard

2.    Click on the name of the building part standard

3.    Click on the Building parts tab

4.    Building parts which are attached will have a check mark in the column for ‘Attached’

5.    Click Edit at the top bar

6.    Find the building part

7.     Click the box in the column for ‘Attached’ to set or remove check mark

8.    Click Save at the top bar.

 

Please note that it is possible to use the filter above the list. It is possible to choose between Show All, Show attached and Show not attached.

 

 

How to see details for the building parts attached to the building part standard

1.     Find the building part standard

2.    Click on the name of the building part standard

3.    Click on the Building parts tab

4.    Click on the name of the attached building part

5.    Click the Details tab

6.    Click Close at the top bar.
