Configure and synchronize keynotes

Configure and maintain keynotes from the cloud platform and synchronize keynotes in Revit project model(s).

NTI CONNECT cloud platform Project > Parts > Settings

1.    Click the Keynote tab

2.   Click Edit at the top bar

3.   Add a check mark for ‘Use Keynote’

4.   Click in the field for ‘Key value parameter’. The keynote value parameter can be made by combining both existing parameters and customized text

5.   Select one or more parameters from the list by clicking them and/or enter text and press enter to add customized text

6.   Enter text manually and click the plus to add the text to the parameter (optional)

7.   Choose the parameter in the ‘Key text parameter’

8.   Click Save at the top bar.

Please note that only Description or any multiline text parameter in the Revit project model can be used in the field for ‘Key text parameter’. The parameters have to exist in the model and be synchronized to NTI CONNECT.

The settings which are made here applies to all models for the project.

NTI CONNECT Revit

1.    Click Synchronize keynote on the NTI CONNECT ribbon

2.   A dialog with keynote status appears

3.   Click Synchronize to update values in the Revit model

4.   A dialog appears with information gathered about the status of the keynotes

5.   Click Yes to continue the synchronization

6.   A dialog with the result appears

7.   Click OK to finish.

Please note that the Revit keynote settings will be overwritten with the settings made in NTI CONNECT.
