Viewer toolbar

The toolbar provides tools based on the currently active view (2D or 3D).

 

 

Orbit: In orbit mode, the camera moves around the focal point of the model. In this mode, the up direction is always maintained. Click the arrow for orbit or free orbit options. Only available for 3D.

Pan: Moves the view parallel to the screen

Zoom: Zoom in or out.

First Person: Navigate through a model as when walking through it. With this function enabled, click F1 to learn how to navigate with the keyboard and mouse. Only available for 3D.

Camera Interactions: Click the arrow to choose between Roll, Focal Length or Fit to view.

Measure: Use the tools to measure distance, angles or area. It is also possible to calibrate using a known measurement and specify the units and precision settings.

Section Analysis: Click the arrow to view the model in sections along the X, Y or Z planes. Only available for 3D.

Document Browser: Get an overview of both views and sheets. It is also possible to see sheets for the model.

Form Cluster By Category: Cluster building parts by their category.

Explode Model: Pull the various sections apart.

Model Browser: Browse individual sheets or 3D models. Search for objects by name or ID and toggle the icon to hide or display the selected objects.

Properties: Inspect properties of the model or selected objects, including constraints, materials and finishes, and identifying data.

Settings: Use the tabs to customize the performance, navigation, appearance and environment of the viewer.

Full screen: View the model in full screen mode.
